Is there another airline lined up for G-OOOZ or will it go into storage for a while, she's been with First Choice for a few years now.

Thomson LGW-CMB

Does anyone know if Thomson have scrapped this route for Winter 10/11? Doesn't seem to be bookable at all, and Thomson packages to Sri Lanka now seem to suggest other airlines like QR.

it was dropped at the end of last winter as non profitable, only ran on a fortnightly basis which involved a lot of expense positioning crews to and from Male.

TOM only base aircraft in BFS for the summer season. Past few years has been a sub Skyservice A320 in FCA colours. Next year believed to be 737-800. Remember back in the good days before the merger when we had based Britannia 757. Bring back the classic livery!!

Just back today from AGP and my furst ever sectors on TOM and the 738H as mentioned earlier. GREAT. I was impressed by the CC and the overall service. The trip we had booked had also included the hot meal and I was pleased on both sectors. Seats were good, the reduced pitch neatly handled by the high level seat pocket. There were, of course, a million children on board but that's the price you pay!

It has happened many a time on the B767, it will not be a write off, TCX operate one that had the same problem around 6 years ago.

Anyone know what aircraft we are getting at Durham Tees for our winter flights? Last Winter the Alicante (Tuesday) was a 752 from NCL. Additionally we have a Tenerife and Sharm (Sat/Sun) which will presumably be either a 738 or 752? Also where does it come from (Fri pm/Sat am) and to (Sun pm/Mon am)

Wishful thinking. It will have no bearing whatsoever. Do you really think TOM are neglecting a huge demand at CWL, ignoring it and flying from BRS ?

Please don't carried away with runway lengths as this airframe had a similar incident at Ho Chi Minh city 10 years ago and their runways are 10000 feet and more

Is the Teesside-Grenoble bookable through travel agents or a private charter?

Not sure if this has been answered so I apologise if it has. Will Thomson be leasing any 767s out for Hajj this year?
