Thomson 767's are 2-4-2 configuration. They do not have any aircraft 3-4-3.

gulf papa,

I have the aircraft schedule infront of me so I can confirm a few things since there's some wrong information being posted here. EMA-SFB-EMA (TOM352/3) are operated by the ex-First Choice fleet of 767-300/ER's (258 seats). These are configured 2-3-2 throughout with 195 economy (Star Class) and 63 premium (Star Class Premium) seats. The ex-Thomsonfly long haul aircraft (283; 252 economy / 31 premium) are based / operated out of Manchester and Gatwick through the summer season. Regional (ie none MAN / LGW) longhaul flights are operated by the ex-FCA fleet. You'll find some recent cabin photos from my flights to Mombasa here. Both aircraft have seat back IFE throughout with 33" seat pitch in economy, and 36" (FCA) / 37" (TOM) in premium. You can upgrade to the premium IFE in economy for £5.

I'm surprised with the "dot com" era of travel that they've not decided to go back to the initial Thomson.co.uk livery that they painted the BY aircraft in when they first went blue.

How come they havent painted BA and BH into Thomson livery, they both have recieved new winglets, but no new livery, im hoping its because that ZR isnt in new colours and just a hybrid colour at the moment, because it looks too simple to me and they havent decided upon a full livery yet. I dont understand why it cant be like Thomsonfly.com used to be, except replace fly.com with Airways

You mean the ones that looked like 'Thomas Cook'?

I think that's your answer why not.

Was that the reason why they changed it in the first place? Well, you learn something new every day! I can see where you're coming from with that, but surely Thomson want to advertise the website. We've just gone to having billboard titles on all of our "new" aircraft.

Will just get the fleet into the new livery, Then 'Typically' the 'Management' will buy another Airline or Tour Op??

Then all the new uniforms & paint will change all over again...

A never ending cycle!!

There will be no big change in livery until the 787 arrives. Newly delivered 737s will be painted with Thomson titles only, as in the pic.

not much change

Not much change, the Thompson characters still look 'nibbled' by the window apertures - it's amazing really & I wonder how much money have they spent this time around & yet they still miss the obvious that most folk see the logo from the upper floor of the dep' lounge & hence the logo really is a lot better above the windows , just my input anyway, common sense no longer figures anywhere in civil aviation these days sadly

Does anyone have an idea when Thomson Airways review thier handling agents?

I've heard quite a few rumors that TOM are considering a change from Servisair at a few of their bases.
