Maybe?

It now seems along time since the Armed Security used to walk up and down the carpark/terrace on a monday for the EL AL 757/767.

Every monday dinnertime.

Hi

Hope you guys don't mind helping me out. Looking at going to Goa in March/April and we're interested in the Premium Service offered on the flights. From what I've seen of the Premium cabin on the FCA 767s it looks pretty good. I was wondering if this route is operated by a mix of FCA and TOM aircraft or usually kept to one config. If it's not the FCA aircraft, how does the TOM premium cabin compare?

Thanks for your help

Ive just seen the Thomson Cargo listings this evening and noticed that on some B757 flights it uses the symbol B75W. Being used to EMA not seen B75W used, so will Thomson be putting winglets on some of there B752 or will they be leasing one from Nordic? as some of their B757s have winglets

They are fitting winglets to a number in the fleet, both ex TOM and FCA a/c.

How old are the TOM/FCA 757s as MON and TCX seem to be getting rid of a number of theirs?

Most of Thomson Airways B757's are 1991-1995 vintage but two were built in 1999.

There's been a delay in the retro-fitting of blended winglets on the 767. TOM were suposed to be getting them at the moment while some aircraft are in for heavy maintenance. That's not happening and they'll be fitted in winter 2009 now.

Although imminent, winglets on B767 have still to be certified.

Thomson to Malaga...no more??

My sister was booked on a Thomsonfly flight from BOH to Malaga for June 09, however has received a letter from Thomson saything they are no longer flying that route and have been given alternative flights from Gatwick - are they stopping this route, thought it would be popular, or are they letting Ryanair get the better of them...on the website Ryanair worked out more expensive!!

Thomson were flying to malaga twice a week but have cut one of the flights... were still flying to malaga once a week thou... tell her to ask thomson which day it is! Its due to ryanair doing to route aswell and theres no point competing with their prices!!

Thomson have cut 1 of there Malaga services on a Tuesday and replaced it with a Palma service making it 4 a week now

There is a weekly Malaga service on a Sunday morning throughout the summer and an extra service operating in the high season from July on a Thursday evening as is the extra Ibiza service operating on a Saturday evening from July

You have answered your own question. If your sister has a letter from Thomsons saying they no longer fly that route, what do you think the answer is? Yes, that's right, they have stopped the route.

That'll be £1000 for my consultancy fee please.
