787 delivery.

to operate 10 in the summer of 2017, it sounds like a slow build up of long haul. they might be doing it this way hoping the apd will be lower or cut out. also the recession will be behind us. just my thoughts on deliveries, unless any one else has any thoughts.

The last 5 ex FC 767 planned to leave by july 14, 3 ex 767 planned to stay until 15 but its under review & maybe extended further for s/h ops. Plan is for 6x787 for summer 14, further 2 by 15, total un UK of 10 by 17, as this is a group aircraft the 'internal monuments ie galleys/toilets /safety equipment all identical so a/c may be moved around group seasonally all that will need to be changed is seating config which happens now with blue tail a/c.

the 3 blue tail a/c have always operated s/h in summer and are reconfigured for l/h in winter to support the BLX & cruise programme & probably will continue to do so for next few years.

If they retire 5x 757 this winter. What will be replacing them? Only 2 738s left to arrive.

I think you'll find this info is not totally accurate now

Ref the VIP departure from LTN yesterday.....hardly newsworthy as they have been departing LTN on a regular basis for many years

It might just be me ! , but is anyone else finding it difficult to navigate around the new Thomson Holidays / First Choice website

Really just to see what destinations and flight times are on offer from the UK bases that Thomson has

The timetable section seems to be out of date slightly so was wondering if there is any other web site or page to look at for flights etc

Just saw on Instagram that a 738 is getting repainted in EMA currently, the picture didn't show the reg but C-FLZR ferried from LBA to EMA a few days back, do you think that is the craft getting repainted?

Maybe ZR isn't going on winter lease to SWG, ZS doesn't go so maybe SWG doesn't require an additional 738 this year

Thomson Airways to get another two Boeing 787-8's:
TUI Travels orders two more Boeing 787-8s for Thomson Airways | World Airline News

Maybe ZR isn't going on winter lease to SWG, ZS doesn't go so maybe SWG doesn't require an additional 738 this year
G-FDZZ has gone instead
