Its a good plan to only use two on longhaul, but the problem is going to be GLA & EMA. When they go tech, you will not have one ready in GLA & EMA, so you will have to position one from either LGW or MAN.
My prediction is going to be, that my companies A300 a/c which the crews complain about always being tech, will no longer be the butt of all the jokes.
Good luck with the B787, because you are sure as hell going to need it.

If you work behind the scenes in engineering, you will soon find out from the various vendors, however in the meantime have a look in MyBoeingFleet.
Sorry to say that you need to be accepting deliveries, from about line number 300 onwards and not 92 & 94.
For the money you are having to pay for them, you need the a/c to have a tech despatch level of 98% and above, plus an a/c that is near its proposed delivery weight.
What l have seen so far, l am glad Monarch did cancel its order, however Boeing & Rolls would have had a couple of more years to sort out the problems before ours were due.
As l said before, good luck, at least you will have a few months to get ready for long haul with them.

ANA have been flying the B787 for over a year and have far more equipment and spares than anyone else.
We will have to wait and see.

Hi guys got another random question, last night G-OOBH was ferried to RHO from LTN then brought back the last pax of the season back to CWL. Then this morning it was ferried out to Norwich now to my knowledge Thomson doesn't operate flights from there especially now it is the winter season, so does anybody know why it has gone there? I know in the past the old TOM 75's that went to allegiant where painted there so maybe BH could be leaving the fleet?

Ah thanks for the information. The new colours should look good on the 75. Also I have just seen a photo on jetphotos and it looks like Jetairfly have taken a liken to the new Thomson colours. JetPhotos.Net Photo » OO-VAC (CN: 33014) Jetairfly Boeing 737-8BK by Christian A. Amado

B787

Reports on other sites state that parts have arrived at KPAE and Thomson's first 787 should start to be built this month.

If you google all things 787 you will find a pretty good b**g about the 787.

On other matters are the summer 2013 aircraft allocations known for each base?

I saw the rumour that EMA might be 3 x 738's but any news on BHX, BRS, NCL, LTN and GLA.

I thing Jethro's has four 757's going this winter (OX, BI, BJ & BR).

Pete

Any ideas on what the CWL base will consist of ? Also does anyone think that the 787 operations could be shifted to CWL if BRS has problems ?
