Highland

Anybody know if the Jetstream 41 that Highland are picking up is coming Cardiff's way for the Anglesea route?

All the rumours about Baby are just that, rumours. Looks what happened with the banks last week when certain traders spread unfounded rumors! Unfortunately it's the media world we live in now.

Valley and J41

The PSO route is set up based on 18-19 seats only so unlickley that you will see a J41 except on odd occasions

Oh dear oh dear, a few problems with Bmi today, all Bmi flights delayed.
Fly Be started today with the new routes, EDI being the first one to come in, seemed to be a few pax coming off, does any one know how many came off and how many went out on it?

Bmi Baby

Looks like Bmi Baby have sorted the flights out by juggling the a/c round, only the 3 flights delayed now.

Part of the engine cowling had to be replaced on one of the a/c, i agree, it is nice to see more flights on the board.

The a/c in question was GTOYF and was AOG until approx 1600 this afternoon. Flights were juggled around and the GLA flight was canx but nearly opperated on a SUB a/c.

All flybe flights were close to on-time with the CDG-CWL-GLA only a reasonable delay due to transits. Real test will be tomorrow with 11 Flybe departures.

I do agree it is nice to see a few extra flights on the departure board, however a problem will arrise every sunday with both BE and WW having irish departures at identical times 1655 BHD/BFS.

They are not allowed to be mentioned on this thread until they have their AOC; the mods won't be happy!

I agree but one of the flights will go delayed every week due to airport facility's or in this case special branch. They insist that every irish flight goes through hate 1. With 2 irish flights with the same departure time they both want to start boarding the same time.

Occasionally they won't let another flight be called if they are viewing a particular flight which they have specific interest in. Unless they have a member of the handling agents staff seperating all other flights than the one they want to see. Surely it is not our problem if they are too lazy to look at everyones passports or ID's?

The airport cannot cope with extra irish flights unless they do not clash with another and delayes will incur as they won't see inbounds and outbounds at the same time and won't allow to hold passengers on the stairs so have to call the flight from gate 1 (no holding area) after cabin clearence has been given. They are causing more hassle than what it is worth and pilots increasingly think that the airport is a joke.

Does anyone have any statistics on how the new Flybe routes out of CWL are doing?

As of 0001 21 April 2008 FCA will be handled by Servisair as part or the TUI and FCA merger. Not sure what is the date for TCX to be transferred over to Servisair.

I'm looking forward to flying CWL-DUB (RE AT4) this May. I've never been to CWL.

LOL. I've flown to/from BRS numerous times, and considering I've lived in Wales for 3+ years... well, it's about time CWL featured.

Peter,

Of the six or seven unserved destinations in the top ten, how many do you expect to see added within the next 12 months?
