with possibly some 330s popping in on subs
More 330's. So that could be up to 3 A330 movements in one day. Monarch, Emirates and Air Transat (if it's not a A310) . Lets hope they aren't all on the ground at the same time!!! With only being able to accommodate 1 on pier at anyone time, that will be some additional coaching, should they be on the ground at the same time!!! Not bad for a regional airport

Ops guy,

The thought of 3 A330's on the ground at one time at NCL to be honest scares me haha.

Good point there is the Monarch A330 going to be down at the same time as the EK?

FlyBe LGW

The new BE LGW must be doing ok, they are introducing an extra Sun rotation from early May.
Quite a few weekday services fully booked. The smaller aircraft much more suited to the route. It would be good to see the re introduction of a 9 30ish weekday to LGW as that was always popular.

The Transat and Monarch go on different days, MON on a Fri and Sat and TS i believe is going on a Wed this year so no more than 2 in one day!

New Routes from NCL

Hi - wondering if some of you could give me some advice - im wokring on a business project - and to cut a long story short mine is based on an airline.
What routes do you beleive would be profitable from NCL, which arent currently at NCL - some ideas I think would be - Madrid
Frankfurt
Split
Dubrovnik
Knock
What do other people think? Suggest any more?
In what frequency and capacity do you believe would be needed for these routes to be successful?
What a/c to fly them - I thought either BAE 146 or Fokker 100?

Any further suggestions would be great!

Oslo, Jersey via Norwich perhaps, get more flights on the Brussels route, well-marketed London City, Bergamo is going, Rome is down to one a week, Geneva could do well all year a few times a week, im sure there are many more out there

Lets face it, the competition is on self destruct mode, if indeed they can even muster a reliable service. 'Fred Carnot' could even do a better job than 'London Airways'. Slowly but surely the message is getting through to the punters that perhaps in the majority of cases they are able to dispense with BA & LHR even if NCL can't

Ba Lhr

Quite amazing -- On Sat they managed to do more flights to /from LHR/ NCL than LHR to/from ABZ, MAN and GLA or was it EDI, with only one canx to/ from NCL.
Today again only one cancellation, but tommorrow its 50% of NCL LHR NCL cancelled.

Skyman771, your quite right about the punters avoiding LHR to the benefit of KL/AF and others. Hopefully the T5 situation will improve as despite what is said BA generally provide an excellent service. Thats when its not foggy, windy at LHR and some staff are not on a dispute etc. Great shame.

Rome does look confusing in the Easyjet timetable but it is in fact 4 times weekly.

FlyBE

Hi All,

Anyone know how the loads were on the first LGW & ABZ services today with Flybe, just checked their website and there seems to be very few seats left in general on both services.

Cheers

Kev

Obviously pleased to see LGW off to a good start. Early days yet though BE couldn't have hoped for a better start thanks to T5 farce. Presume that they will be one of very few that place WW on their next Xmas card list

When will SN jump back on the T5 bandwaggon and put on an early departure for the connections out of BRU? Used to be a useful service but I suppose the P&G re-location from BRU to Copbalt stuffed a lot of the core passengers.

WOW! 100%

Looks like the route is a good one for the E95! Remember, two airlines have been selling these flights.

Aren't BE using the DHC-8 on LGW? Lot smaller than a B.733...

Sorry, my mistake.

So they are filling up 78 seats max? Isn't that about the same amount on the LS flights?
