And not to forget the countless resignations off the longhaul fleet think its up to 17 now since february when I was last in contact with the remaining matchstick eyelids! Most awaiting salarys too! All pocketed by various people in Colinton and that agency in Woking.
Glad i left months ago, my brief relationship with these people was originally on the basis id be operating usa canada southafrica (without min rest)! but when i took the job an indian base was suddenly announced. Both GSMs own (leased from ilfc) 767s now based for Air India on a timeless basis, guess Tom didnt want his airline to go this way, its destroyed his credibility but i guess 2 other guys right/left hand side have well lined their aging pockets.

Just to clarify the situation a little more-maybe there are more GSM cabin crew and pilots than diesel 36 who don't like bad things being said of them,maybe we are all sick to death of jibing and side swipes from people with nothing better to do than make anonymous ill informed posts here spreading doom and gloom to serve who exactly?
We are not the only airline with delays,we are not the only airline who are short on crews,we are not the only airline with crewing and tech problems but when some of you spouted off on here that we weren't getting long haul aircraft-we got them,when ill informed gossips claimed that 737's to the US and Canada wouldn't or couldn't possibly happen-it did.
Now why don't those of you with axes to grind about our senior managers or directors who may have been your previous employers and who didn't play ball for you or didn't give you a job in this airline write to them and air your problems there.
Please just leave the rest of us to get on with our jobs cos this is all just getting soooooooo pathetically boring now.

IB4138 who do you work for, and why do you spend so much time following GSM's day-to-day business?
For the record, I am not an employee of GSM, but I have flown them in the past and have not experienced any problems with the airline.

I reckon you have had a problem with one of our management pilots or directors or not got a job with us in the past and are now trying to have a pop under cover of using the fact that all posts are anonymous on this forum!
Whatever it is please stop the nasty swipes and get a life,take up sport,learn to do things with your partner,or get a hobby,just leave us alone to get better at what we do.
And GW76 delays happen man,TFS,BOS,AGP,ALC,PMI,LHR,JFK,BOS,EDI,GLA etc etc etc. You wanna name any others served by us and other 'big airlines?

I think one protesteth too much. FYI GSM were the only carrier with a delay over 30 mins at GLA this evening and that out of FCA TOM TCX XLA BA etc. Yes delays happen- but you can almost guarantee with GSM there will be significant delays across the network tomorrow again. Its an unfortunate pattern and depsite your protests doesnt seem to be on a par with other airlines currently and shows no signs of abating.

Individual flights are not representative, anyone can find delayed flights for most airlines and highlight them.
Here is a different slant for you.
The on time performance of GSM on EDI-PMI for May is 92.30% (arrival within 15 mins of schedule) with an average delay of 5 mins and 31 seconds. Now from that I could rightly say that GSM are one of the best.
But I don't have rose tinted specs and GSM do have significant problems (not enough spare capacity) but that is no different from many operators in the summer. Long haul has been a nightmare however that is not solely down to GSM (ICE are partially responsible) but GSM obviously agreed the contract so must take much of the blame.
What is the agenda, be honest.

There is only one way to deal with this and that is to give it a rest. By that I mean its getting closed for a while for some to cool their heels and others to gain some perspective. So hang up your pitchforks and handbags and take a breather.
Give it a few days and then someone can start a new thread but NOT yet.
