I heard something about a Falcon charter to Las Palmas, although a bit late to announce at this stage it could be released with the new website.

767 diversion to DUB due to lack of stairs
In the news today
Cork-bound jet diverted to Dublin over lack of aircraft stairs | Irish Examiner
However looked at flight radar and yes there was a air contractors (ABR416J) flight land in Dublin from Reus at 01:22 but it was EI-STA which is a 737-300 series so bit confused by this, no 767 showing up in flight radar.
Any ideas

Cityjet are selling seats from ORK-LCY from €20.65! That includes a checked bag and snacks & drinks.
The Cardiff route is doing shockingly bad. (Unsurprisingly for a weekly service). In June it had a LF of 38%!
Goes 2 weekly next month (Tu, Sa) while for winter it goes (Tu, Fri).

I wouldn't be too worried about the first month figures for Cardiff, although it would be nicer to see higher second month figures.
Anyway, it will have a few good boosts to performance over the next few months, with Ireland playing at least two and most probably three matches in Cardiff in the Rugby World Cup, while Munster have three away ties in South Wales and Cardiff are coming to play Munster in Cork.
Given the sporting links between the two regions, it may be a route that does better in Winter than Summer.

ORK-CWL
The passenger numbers were better in July. CAA stats show that 572 passengers used the route giving an average load of 71.5, 60.5% load factor on the 118-seat E 195.
This actually gives a higher average load than the daily ORK-BRS in July when 3910 passengers used the Aer Lingus Regional (Stobart Air) ATR 72, which is an average load of 63.
When Aer Arann operated both ORK-CWL and ORK-BRS at the same time some years ago the CWL route saw slightly lower average loads than the BRS route but the disparity was not that great.
The 118-seat E 195 represents a lot of seats on this route. An average load of 71.5 on a Q 400 would be excellent. Having said all this we all know that what really counts is yield, not average loads.

Mentioned on the SNN thread, but it seems unlikely. It's EI's fourth longest continuously operated route in Cork and unlike most others has some flights already on sale next summer.
Possibly it could be haned over to Vueling as part of the IAG deal?

In other news, there's a very odd article in The Irish Examiner this morning about Ryanair apologising over comments they made in relation to charges at Cork Airport.
Ryanair apology for spokesman?s Cork Airport comments | Irish Examiner
It would almost make me wonder if there was something in the pipeline there, with the PR department not being aware of something that was being planned elsewhere in the business.

There may be something planned or at least talks taking place not sure how significant it will be but there is a reasonable prospect some capacity will be added next year if sources are correct.
Clearly the comments shouldn't of been made in the context they were.

Anyone with half a brain cell knows FR will eventually fall out with SNN and scale everything back to nothing, and sign a ground breaking deal with ORK. Don't even be surprised to hear suddenly they are pulling routes at ORK and ramping up KIR. The usual merry go round.

Aer Lingus summer schedule
Anyone know when seats are released for next summer with Aer Lingus. Seems to be at different times each year, just looking to book flights to FAO again but wondering if the schedule will change again in 2016 as it was different this year to last.
