What similar sized base were you referring to? BHX?
I was on about their short haul i know the long haul is better but i think the short haul isnt as good as it could be from GLA ! Apart from CWL i think most other bases fly to almost every one of them short haul destinations

TCX now have Orlando on sale for 10x weekly from STN and 11x weekly from GLA next summer

Very surprising, could it be a mistake?

Does anyone know when the Air Tanker is due back in service, and where it has been for it's refit?

Think it's been at Brize Norton since beginning of July. Thomas Cook website says it's operating from GLA from next week.

Will be based at GLA all winter.

Thanks. I know it was due to operate STN-MCO yesterday but it was changed to Hi-Fly. Passengers were only informed at check in so I presume the refit has over run a bit?

Don't think too many have been chuffed with the Hifly experience at GLA so good luck ti STN passengers but yes I would assume the refit has run a bit longer than expected which id imagine Air tanker are covering!

The air tanker is back in service, positioned up to GLA a few days ago.

The majority of the STN long haul has been on hi-fly, there have been very few flights on TCX metal form what I gather.

TCBB was wfu on Saturday after operating HER-GLA. Has been on remote stand since.

TCBC was wfu at the end of September, but was recalled and is still flying.

WJAN will leave the fleet sometime next month.

FCLI will remain in the fleet until the end of the year, operating TFS-GLA as it's last flight on the 31st December.

My understanding is that both G-TCBB and G-TCBC were due into Southend for EOL checks. There were rumors of G-WJAN going to SF Airlines
