Does anyone know if the J41 and E70 aircraft that are to be operated on behalf of BE are going to be painted in BE colours?.

As all other UK franchise carriers (mostly) op in Flybe cols I thinks it's safe to assume yes to this question.

Earlier posts suggest that only the 4 aircraft being used on the routes directly competing with Loganair will be painted. Everything else stays white or in Eastern colours.

Is it just the Cardiff to Newcastle route that the backbone crj200 aircraft will be operating on for eastern or will it be doing other routes for them as well.

This sounds like the best of the lEA commercial department. Dwindling passenger figures so lease a jet in to do it because you have no staff to fly aircraft. Which is why you need the lease in the first place. But your passengers have deserted you because of the cancellations and lateness showing you are so unreliable. Hence vastly reduced revenue leading to a £3.3m loss. Best thing to do is to wet lease a jet.
The next ridiculous thing they'll think of is trying to do a codeshare arrangement with a major regional operator.

Looks like GLA-MAN service will be moving from the J41 aircraft planned To a S2000 from 01SEP17

Looks like all T3's flight numbers are changing from the start of W17 schedule on 29OCT17. All flights will continue to operate using the T3 prefix but will operate with 4 digit flight numbers starting 76 (T376XX) Any one know the reason for this?.

Most likely crew capacity on J41. And I think there are more Saab aircraft than captains on it at the moment. there is no permanent crew at GLA, so its going to be very interesting.

Been using Saab 2000 on the Aberdeen-Leeds-Southampton route for past few weeks now.
Also leased Cello 146-200, G-RAJJ to operate a delayed Leeds-Southampton rotation yesterday evening.

Cello 146. That's a cheap option.

I remember another line from ex management there. To compliment the 'if you don't like it you can f&ck off'. There was also the 'we can replace you overnight'.

Yes. With a cello et al leases.

Are you sure this is all Eastern flight numbers or is it just for the GLA-MAN route? If the whole network, this will only leave two spare digits for all their flights!

That means there are 10 flights a day between the two cities. Unsustainable, I would guess.

0630 Loganair
0645 BE/Eastern
0715 Loganair
1000 Loganair
1020 BE/Eastern
1405 Lonanair
1440 BE/Eastern
1705 Loganair
1830 Loganair
1845 BE/Eastern

I predict that Eastern will be so bad that the collaboration with Flybe will not last long and Loganair will win this particular battle.

Indeed it is, I stand corrected. Makes you wonder why they don't just ditch the '76'. From reading this thread, I guess Eastern have got more important things to worry about than flight numbers though!

J41 G-MAJK arrived at EMA a couple of days ago and hasn't flown since (but it's not outside). Repaint into FlyBe livery perhaps?
