BHX-NCL

How well does this route perform? I know from friends who work at BHX that pax figures per flight can be in single figures so I assume yields must be very good for this route to keep going?

Are Eastern looking to give up on the Scatsta IAC flights? If not they really need to give themselves a shake.

After I posted you had another 2 fixed wings going tech in one day. One diverted to Sumburgh and then returned to Aberdeen (probably empty) another never made it out of Aberdeen. True? Especially at this time of year there are a lot of folks offshore keeping an eye on how things are going and this is not an unusual occurance.

GLA- SVG looking precarious with dire loads. How long will it survive ? Was always an odd choice of route. Do some route via ABZ ?

Accurate information

No, the person to whom you are referring, has not, as you describe it, been given the boot.

Can't see it. They'd have to pay more than three 'n six a year to get a Captain for a 737.

Not really a strange move. Eastern run charters and if demand is there for an aircraft larger than a barbie jet or J41 then why not get a 733 on an ACMI deal.

I meant to say a strange move for the B733 not Eastern. Eastern struggle to run there own schedule / fleet somedays as this forum states, nevermind a "3rd party managed VVIP B733 operation"

I'm presuming things have settled down a bit now with the new management in place, that and the rumours reaching other parts of the world are getting rarer now so it would all point towards a happy ship?

What's all this about 737's? Surely that's just a joke? Not really an ideal aircraft for NWI ABZ is it

eastern airways

Hi,
anyone knows the situation in MXP base? it is the same there? i am asking you that because i am waiting to be called for this base, i did an interview with them last October and i 've been successful but in the same time i was put on hold with an indefinitive period, they will call me when somebody maybe leave the company or if somebody is growing and in that case they need another FA and i did not to wait for a long time but maybe i need to wait...many months, one year i dont know and this is frustrating for me...i hope someone who is working for them can give me some more infos
Thanks everybody

A relative caught the Bristol - Aberdeen this morning via Leeds on an Eastern Saab 2000.

Just 4 onboard when it departed Bristol. Are Eastern's load similar throughout their network?
Wonder if the low loads are down to BM operating there direct service.

Does anyone know how BM are doing on the route
