Heard its a German chartered Do328 - Maybe the ManU fans have decided to get one of the former CityStar a/c to come back in disguise!

Awful long way to Moscow in a 328 - unless it's a JET variety?

Any flights to Norway today or did the strikes over there wipe everything out?

Looks like more of the same tomorrow.

Left ABZ for BGO (14:10 Flight) yesterday and there was a Canadian registered Bizjet sitting nose out on the stand directly outside Gate 1, it sat there engines running for quite a while (waiting for a slot maybe?) before departing.

Is it usual for Bizjets to go to the west side or could it have been a customs/immigration type thing?

TIA

What was the big grey thing that landed this morning @ 09:20? Like a 146 (4 jets, high tail) but much bigger, noisier and matt grey in colour. Quite impressive on approach and reverse thrust - left some black marks on the tarmac too by the sound of it as well. Had I been awake I'd have got a piccie

the C17 was an urgent compssionate from overseas. It departed for Brize about 40 mins later.
I wonder how the W taxiway held up under the weight?

The usual parking on 23 wasn't used as a C17 might have broken that surface up.W should be strong enough, especially since that aircraft can use rough airstrips.Interesting to see,if the area where it parked, will need fixed in the future.

RAF Dyce

So far this year, a Nimrod, last week a C17, & now inbound a VC10!

Last VC10 I recall at Dyce was in 1984!!

Not another compassionate? Or is it a trooper flight?

Edit:
Left for STN carrying an organ for transplant. Well done RAF

Flybe

See in common with other routes around the UK, there are reduced schedules on some ABZ services for the month of June.

Especially affected appears to be the NCLABZ route, no Tu or Th flights. Also timetable only up to the end of June. Wonder if there are changes in the offing from Jul onwards, especially as other routes are listed to Oct?

GSM reported 14% increase in take-up of their S08 flights compared to S07. They are suggesting an extra route being offered next year...providing they are still in business by then (hopefully, as they have been pretty steady timewise here, notwithstanding the problems elsewhere on their network!)

KLM's ground agents at ABZ?

Hello - hope this is the appropriate forum to ask. Could anyone tell me which company does the ground handling for KLM at Aberdeen, please?

On a positive note for Aberdeen Airport the check in area is much improved by the removal of the offices along the window side and the security area is better too.

Still no one know what the Canadian Bizjet was?
