Ta for the info. From experience it tends to change at the drop of a hat so I'll wait and see what happens!

FYI the 2 NOK a/c are due to arrive back at LGW on 1 May.

Cheers

Hi timboab

The 'C' means they are Canadian reg'd a/c which are operated by Sunwing Canada and flown by their pilots. In all other respects they are identical to the rest of the XL fleet. In fact they were G-XLAE/F/H before they were transferred to the Canadian register.

MAN-SFB and GLA-SFB will be operated by XL A330 from 1st May.

Cheers

From what i can remember it's around about 17k basic, with £2.50 odd an hr and between 8% and 12% commission.

Hope this helps? I'm sure someone will give you the exact figures mind you.

Any news on whether the XL France A330-200 has arrived at Manchester. I read elsewhere it was operating the MAN-SFB route from 6th June.

XL Airways today parted company with their CEO. For personal reasons. No more news. Any further info?

Anybody know what is happening with the Freetime check-in baggage XL have on their Travel City Direct flights from Sanford.

At present it is not operating for Manchester Glasgow and Cardiff flights but is working for Gatwick flights. Is this got something to do with the XL France aircraft? Suggestions that it is because it is not the usual aircraft they are using, they have to get a licence from US authorities?

Website says it is suspended until beginning of Aug. We are scheduled to use it 28th July. Any chance of it being reinstated early by then?

not sure why the free check-in isnt working, most likley be something to do with the covering XL france A330.

just a side note the engineers have been having a few problems with it as of late. we had to connect it to an air start last week because the aircraft wasnt accepting ex pwr.
