Does anyone in Loganair know if they will try and crew from within (especially given the sad news for the LCY crews), or might they take on Type Rated 2000 crew?

What's the sad news - is it related to Cityjet stopping LCY-EDI? Aren't they still going to be flying LCY-DND with a Loganair aircraft?
Who retired today?
A nice water arch laid on by Aberdeen Fire service and it seemed like all the ground staff met the aircraft, whose callsign had been changed by ATC to Pension1.
Happy retirement.

That was john, one of our ex ba highland division guys retiring. End of an era that one. It was me that asked for the callsign change! When the previous duffer retired in July it was "last one" luckily we've not got retirements for a wee while as I'm running out of ideas for callsigns.
Was very good of the airfield management and fire service / ATC to accommodate us for the send off.

D328
Hi All
Just wondered if anyone could answer my question as to whether some of the routes served out of EDI by the D328 will go back to the Saab 340 and if anyone can tell me the reason for the change of Aircraft ? Was on a Loganair flight recently and it seemed to be crewed by a entire foreign Crew.

Don't know if there are any crews from NWI on here but if you are just wanted to say thank you for giving a great service every time I use it, it's brilliant and defiantly the best airline experience I have had

Right, I have now seen from the Norwich Airport page that Loganair will be taking over the running of the Edinburgh route, as well as that it seems like they are also going to be taking on the operation of the Edinburgh - Cardiff route.
Details are all here: News - Norwich Airport
PS - Don't ask me why Norwich mentioned a service it isn't getting.
