Does anybody know if the saab 340 safety demo on the plane is still spoken by the flight attendant, or have they move this onto it being a recorded announcement.
Few years ago when i flew with them the single cabin crew member had to speak the demo on the PA and do the safety demo at the same time..
Just wondered if it was still the same procedures......

so much for quotes taken in context!
I hear Logie recently had a little ground mishap with a SF340 at Gla - and its a possible write off , or so i'm told . Anyone got further details as its been nicely hushed up?!!

Right then North South . Logie are currently short of an a/c at Dundee for at least 60 days , due to i'm told a ground incident involving a fire on one of their SF340's at Glasgow - so what is "not possible" about this then? Like i hinted in my original post , its all gone a bit quiet !

If they are short of an aircraft at Dundee - where I think they only normally have one anyway - then they are doing an incredibly good job of hiding it. Was through BHX yesterday morning and this morning again and parked next to their SF340 operating to and from Dundee on both occasions.

Bit of duff gen there, Monde old bean. The Saab is back operating the Dundee route as normal, the Dorniers are all off doing their normal jobs (charters, Norwich, London City etc.)
The fact that sometimes a Dornier is available at Dundee just gives a bit more flexibility should there be any lack of capacity or tech issues on the Saab fleet, which is what happened last week in two or three places, not just in Glasgow.
Back to normal now (until the next time)!

Loganair
I would like to see Loganair bring some services to DSA I think EDI , GLA and or Dundee and Aberdeen would work well . There is no link to central Scotland from this side of the M1 yes Leeds has them , But it isn't that convenient . Even HUY would be good for EDI etc though not of course Aberdeen as it is already served . But the fact Scotland has such a vast range of superior tourist and business destinations should make them a winner as routes from DSA and or HUY .

Good good! Looks like the flame(s) enjoyed the usual attentive Loganair service:
