what actually arrives does not often bare any similarity to what is in the timetable as aircraft seem to be swapped as per the loads and as I say there seem to be at least 1 or 2 A321 flights a day over the last month or so and less B757
which makes it even easier to fit the plane to the load

BA LHR shuttle loads have been helped by the endless flow of business men moving from another airline. Still at least staff pax commuting to LHR can get on the other one.

MAN Handling Agents

Apologies for talking off subject slightly.

But does anyone know who handles the following airlines at MAN:

Estonian Air
Mahan Air
SkyEurope

Info on as many airlines/handling agents at MAN would be greatly appreciated.

MAN Handling Agents

Estonian and Sky Europe are handled by SAS.
Mahan Air is handled by Servisair/Globeground.

Sky Europe are handled by Menzies, not SAS. Unless there's been a change of handling agent in the past few weeks that is. I'm sure my friends at SAS would have informed me if that was the case! Speaking of NE, the loads on their flights are always excellent. They should seriously consider increasing their frequencies and introducing some new and exciting Eastern European destinations

BWIA is operating its last MAN flight this weekend, BW991 on Sunday April 30th. The loads have never been good and there are too many seats avilable from MAN to the Eastern Caribbean.

US 196/197 to fly LAX-PHL-MAN-PHL-LAX from May. Different aircraft on PHL to LAX leg just though like the current routing to MCO. Nearest MAN going to get to a LAX flight this year!

AFAIK, according to the data in the "System" that ATC works with, [AMOSS, an "Airport" feed]...USA have been doing this "route" since its' inception.

HKG/DEL/MAN

Report in today's South China Morning Post indicates that Hong Kong and Indian aviation officials are negotiating additional traffic rights, which will enable a Hong Kong carrier - Cathay - to fly HKG/DEL/MAN.

My Travel 757

Hi,

sorry if this is old info but I was under the impression that MYT was doing away with thier remaining 757s (last one going or maybe already gone to Evergreen)

Just seen the upcoming scheadules for the summer and noticed that they will be using one in the summer season, if Ive heard right it will be G-WJAN which was on loan to Skyservice.

Can anyone put me right on this.

Thanks,

Rob

G-WJAN has operated all winter for MyTravel. G-PIDS was the one that stored and now departed to a coke can manufacturer, Skyservice had a few MYT A320s and a 767 plus some First Choice 757s which are in the process of being returned.

Chiglet, I've seen US196 listed as MCO-PHL-MAN and SFO-PHL-MAN but never as LAX-PHL-MAN. When I've looked at the CAA provisional pax figures, PHL-MAN is negligble but in the days of MCO-PHL-MAN, the MCO service showed a very large increase in pax numbers, and in the case of SFO, it actually displayed as a scheduled service when none existed. However, the final figures always see the US passengers shifted back to PHL.
