Thompson STN to PAPhOS

hi and thanks in advance to any replies.

just to ask a few little questions can anyone tell me the answers to the following as i am flying out to Cyprus on the 1st Oct 05 with thompson.

what aircraft do they use?

what seating configuration do they use?

what features do they have in the cabin (ie Headrest TV's)?

Service?

Confort?

Y233 (OR 235?)
Drop down TV's
From what I've heard the onboard service isn't as good as it used to be
28 or 29" seat pitch.

whos Thompson by the way.

All i know of is Thomson fly.com.


Oh yes and new leather seats with the addition of more seat pitch due to the storage for safety cards and magazines being moved to Eye level.

Thomson fly is the low cost arm of the thomson group. Britannia Airways have been rebranded as Thomson for the consistency of product i.e. book with Thomson tour operator and fly with Thomson the airline.

Think theres a bit if sarcasim there because Thomson doesnt have a P in it ( Thompson)

Oh yeh i know who Thomson is, i just cannot understand why people want to say its a completly different company by adding a "P".

I just dont like to see a company i work for going to shame like that.

Makes it sound so cheap and sounds like a surname.

thats ok

i see your point and i work for ryanair at stansted so i guess i would be the same however i was in a hurry to type the message out hence the why i put the name as thompson as i was not thinking but hey it just gets on my tits and trust me what a pair i have when people just take the piss.

but hey don;t worry about.

BY 757s DONT have drop down TVs. They have the old ceiling mounted style although at refit these were replaced with thinner flat panel types, but they are fixed and do not drop down.

Deffinatly no drop town tv's they are too old for that, but like said they were replaced and are now newers, brighter displays and so on.

hasta lueGO, Britannia has actually been rebranded as thomsonfly as well meaning all one airline but 2 different products ie low cost and charter.

As said STN-PFO is charter on 757.
