Hmmm,

Currently there is a new terminal being built at London Heathrow Airport.

And in Portugal a new airport will be built.

Toronto's "NEW" multi billion dollar terminal will be up and running in two months time. The terminal is built to handle 60 million pax per annum, expanding to 80 million. Runway number six (6) is to become operational later in the year.

I was in a group for a private tour of the facility just a few days ago and can only say that I was very impressed with what I saw. The terminal is comparable to Hong Kongs new airport. Also, the new infield charter terminal is very impressive and would be welcomed as an addition/replacement for a lot of UK airports, and the envy of many established airports. The "charter" traffic it is built to accommodate are "private" charters like sports teams, business and entertainers and private passenger traffic. Regular "ABC" charter traffic will use existing T3 or Terminal New.

By-the-way, Toronto will become the third most expensive airport, vis-a-vis fees, in the world. This extra cost will surely be passed along to the travelling public and/or the already overburdened taxpayers of Canada.
