first do not talk about my mother ,OK.If you are not able to accept any critisizim ,in this case it is better that you do not post any reply in this forum and stay out .Talking about the company well ,why do not ask about to the meccanic from Zimbawe that does manteinance to your airplane ?and than always the same problem pilots like you have to stay out from Africa ,no wondering why there are more incdent than other places.Just to tell a story that even many others SA pilots have been disguted from the attitude of owner of KAS had at that time with me.

skyboyerik yes I am hit under my the belt, and could happent also to you .At least I have the courage to speak up and tell the true story, like happen to me before to go back in Tanzania.It was very helpfull to know a lot stories about operatos there ,of course it did not avoid the problems ,but at least I went ther with open eyes.My personal anger does not have anythink to do with the reality of the fact.If you dont like what I said sorry just forget about it and good luck.

about Zimex salary, what you need to know is that your salary depends of many things. Position, CPT or F/O, flying experience, type ratings, and location you 'll be base. But in order to give you some usefull information, expect, 2800 Euros/month as a F/O and 3500 Euros/month as a CPT, based in Algeria (operating on be1900 or DH-6), and if I consider only one type rating and for exemple 2000 flying hours. Of course the salary I gave you results of the average on 12 months. ( As you may know, dependings of the location but, the rooster is 4weeks on/4weeks off or 5/5 or 6/4 ). So as far as I'm concerned it seems to be quite interesting.

hello doudou,

about your question concerning flying hours on duty, it' s a little bit difficult to reply precisely. Because it depends of the kind of aircraft you're flying. Then it depends on which machine you are type rated, and as a consequence which position in Zimex you are looking for. But for exemple and in order to give you an idee, expect between 80 to 100 hours/MONTH on Be 1900D in Algeria and on the contrary 250 to 400/YEAR if you fly a DHC-6 in Saoudia.
I'm afraid, to be unable to give you a more accurate reply...

Is Zimex operating the C-208 ? I can be more precise, the answer is YES !
A friend of mine is flying with in Algeria.
