Mauritius Licence Validation Query

Does anyone know of the procedures for validating an ICAO Commercial Licence in Mauritius?

Any contact numbers?

Thanks
Bluegold

As far as I know you will only get a validation if you are working for Air Mauritius.
In that case the company does it for you and it can still take a month or more.

For more info contact the Dept of Civil Aviation in Mauritius.

Hi Bluegold , you don't need to work for Air Mauritius to get a VALIDATION of your licence in Mauritius but must be expected to fly in mauritian airspace of course, either on a private or commercial basis. As Mauritius doesn't have a pilot licence as such they validate ICAO licences.
All you need is copy of your licence & endorsements plus copy of valid medical & proof of nationality. i.e copy of relevant passport.

I think that's about it , contact :
Mr Ramsahye
Flight Licensing Dept
Dept of Civil Aviation
SSR International Airport
Plaisance
Mauritius
I'm not sure about the phone number, maybe one of the local guys on this website can check it up in the phone directory.

P.s : just in case, send a photo of your ugly mug !...

Safe flying
