Africa Airlines Brazzaville?

hi guys

https://www.airliners.net/photo/Afri.../AOGXati9cojJZ

does anyone have any info/contacts for this start-up please?

No. I haven’t heard of them. Congo-Brazzaville is an entirely different animal than their neighbor. The ROC is a nice place. Point Noire is a nice city, so is Brazzaville and the women and food are good too.

If "the women and food are good" then it's good

Charlie_Fox 19th Sep 2020 15:56

It's not a ROC aircraft because they're registered TN-
I think TL- is Central African Republic.

4runner 20th Sep 2020 03:14

the other Congolese airlines are C and N registered...

Nop...Congo DRC its now 9S regs(some remains 9Q awaiting re-reg approval and 9T for Military)...Congo Brazzaville its TN Regs. (CN are Morocco)
Regarding the OP about African Airlines it seems that the old flag carrier of Central African Republic "Karinou Airlines", (Karinou after a hero of the 1928 colonial war), lost its AOC last March/April due to Covid, and its now trying to restart Ops based in Brazza under its first/original name "African Airlines" wich dured on the first year of their ops in 2012.

the airlines based in Congo Brazzaville are Canadian and US registered.

ECAir

Former ECAir was registrer HB-JJB, HB-JJC, HB-JJD, HB-JJE, HB-JJF with their planes being operated by Swiss operator Privatair.
They even bought 2 dreamliners, and then they went burst on 10 of OCTOBER 2016.
Consulting firms CoeM made nearly 22 millions on that venture only, they had others ventures wtih Congolese authorities.

that wasn’t a Congolese airline. It was a wet leased venture. They had a good contract too until too many Congolese got involved. Those bellies were full from dubai and they gave Rwandair a brief run for their money. You’re not incorrect though. However, look at every 737-200 in Brazzaville. All N and C registered. Even the Congolese government aircraft were N registered falcons. The plane came from avion at SFB airport and no, I don’t want to fly it.
