East Africa bush pilot average salary

Title is clear as crystal. Can anyone in the region preferably on Caravans or similar equip shed light on what kind of salary a new hire can expect 1st year?

Thanks

I had a neat if rather redundant (2015) article on bush flying in Botswana that I thought I would post. I used to do a lot of flying in Botswana and found the article very accurate. I would have thought that, with a teeny inflation ramp up, the salaries would be quite similar in East Africa.
But then again and upon reflection, I decided not to post the article because of the specificity of East Africa. I would not have wanted to cause vexation or even confusion between Uganda, Tanganyika and Kenya and Botswana.
It might help well wishers if you stated whether you were looking for new hire rates for captains or first officers on Caravans and whether you were prepared to fly free for hours. An offer to undertake the. latter commission nearly always elicits a response.

Tanganyika...have you been recently? Rwanda has Vision2020, their neighbor has beat up pickups driving around with Vision2030.

Haha cool article. New hire rates for FOs on Caravans or similar. Anyone?

In Tanzania:
Direct from flight school FOs: $500 non-rated on the Caravans. this is for the locals.
for Rated but less experienced pilots, you are looking at 4 times that.

Keenya.
It's named after the mountain, Kirinyagi (aka Mt Keenya...) which is pronounced Keerinyaggi, with a long 'e', not Kerrinyaggi.

And there was I thinking it was called Jomo.

Nearly 10 years ago now but I started on usd3k a month then quickly went up to 3.5k. Including housing allowance. That was as experienced on caravan (roughly 1500tt, 500hr c208)
