Aviation in Sierra Leone

Hello,

I am moving to Sierra Leone in 2019 to help support my wife who will be working there as a doctor. I am a qualified airline pilot. Does anyone know if anything happens in Sierra Leone in regards to medical flights or GA flights related to tourism?

You might find something there but don't bank on it, I'm nearby in Burkina Faso and there is very little for outsiders.

What are you typed on? There are two international airlines with hubs nearby.

I have a valid A320 rating with about 2500 hours and I have an expired C208 rating with 200 hours. Not a whole lot on probably the most relevant one.

Solenta aviation have ATRs based in Abidjan that fly to Freetown. Air Cote de Ivore have 320s once again based in Abidjan, how much bus time you got? SAS Mali might have 1900s based in Conakry? As for any airline based in Freetown, I’ve never seen in the few years I was flying in and out of there. Then again last time I was in Freetown was a few years ago.

Thanks for the advice, I'll look into that.
