Resources an aspiring CPL -> African Pilotry

Hi I'm working towards my CPL now and I'm dreaming of flying bush / agricultural / regional airline in Africa after my 250 hours (I will have IR, CPL, MEL, SEL, SFI, taildragger). I'm 26M with USA citizenship.

1. Any place for resources and perspectives from people who have done this?
2. Advice to find a low hour aviation job in Africa? Will I need more than 250hr?
3. Which countries have favorable conditions/regulations/demand for foreign pilots?

Thanks

Search this forum. Botswana... Namibia... it's all been discussed.

Devined, here's some for late night reading: one, two.

Putting extremely short, with 250TT you might, with an immense load of persistence get hired in Namibia. Otherwise, your US citizenship is a ticket to a huge selection of ****ty CFI jobs that may only appear boring and unrewarding if you haven't tried to get hired in Africa. So, use that ticket to get at least 700 TT before you go abroad.

I got hired in Maun with 360 total in 2013. Those days are gone now. Bots wants a minimum of 500 hours now. Times are changing. CFI it for a while then go to Africa. Might be able to get a right seat job in Alaska with 250 still...

I don't blame you for a second. I also flight instructed and ALL cfi jobs are ****ty. Just think how fortunate you are though that you live in a country where we have the system in place for a young aviator to increase his experience and be paid for it. And a global aviation industry that is experiencing a shortage of pilots.
