Skyjet in Nigeria
Does anybody know anything about Skyjet in Nigeria?

sky jet
They are a very professional operation. Fleet consists of lear 45, 2 HS125, 2 EMB 135/145 Jungle jets that are maintained well. Pay day is as when due. Not a bad lot to work with if I might say so. :D

Thanks for the usefull information
|
And the captains are Tingods. Will always be Rayban Tingods
Sourced from outcast ex Niaga airlines. Useless. To save costs. Where on planet earth do you get a VHF IFR IMC APPROACH comment: "Hurry up" ? Statistics, silently, only record the truth... |
They used to hire pilots from South Africa due to airplanes registration so I don't know about their past. Generally they say it is a decent company.

Hi B Drive,
Mate don't know where you get your info from, maybe you should smoke the other sock? As Tolismnsk say, Chief Pilot and most of the crew as Saffers as the aircraft are ZS. Generally a good op. |
skyjet Nigeria
A year and a half ago before Shirish Raval took over as MD and ZS registered aircraft it was fair but now al SA crew gone some SA engineers still there
Big point Kashim only pays locals when be feels like it If he thinks you did something wrong he will just cut your pay Expects 6 months resignation and be guaranteed U will not get last months pay his maintenance Bills are always outstanding and then refuse to pay the people ask ExecuJet, OGMA, Aero Dienst, Jet Aviation and Inflite Maintenance is never at same facility 2 years in a row Don't ever pay out of your pocket as U will never get money back Both Kashim and Shirish are dishonest and will tell you what you want to hear and not the real truth |
warloc67
used to be but now all SA crew Gone and a real dump |
I have to disagree on above statements. I have always recieved my salary on time with Skyjet. The Chairman of Skyjet takes pride in his aircraft and on the maintenance side the equipment is the best you will find in Nigeria.

Great first post but I smell management of Skyjet here.
|
Strong Smell
I smell it too!
|
Skyjet looking for captains, last one left. Remaining aircraft are 5N registered now
|
Most of the aircraft sold off or out of service. CEO Kashim is a bully. He is out of favour politically. The American does his bidding
|
outside influencers don’t last long here , people are scouting at doing business here . Cannot get far
|
They are looking for G280 Captain
I see they are looking for a G280 driver. Abuja is not as safe as it once was with Boko Haram & farmers/villagers conflict in north spreading to the center of the country. Kaduna now very dangerous with kidnappings more frequent. Local currency devaluation causing more problems.
|
Might be looking for P1 for client, they don't operate a G280
|
I’m quite certain that they have at least one left yet. Not sure if it’s still state registered however.
