Has anyone operated into Libya since "the troubles"? Tripoli or Benghazi?

If I am not mistaken Tyrolean (Former AustrianAirlines) is operating into Tripolis...

Ops seems to be normal...

Ek starts later this year as well....

What hapened to ATRs and CRJ that were stocked prior to the disasterous spring?

Hiya,

Was flying in Libya almost 6 months back in 2012 and had no problems, whatsoever during that time. Did Benghazi, Tripoli (both airports) and all sorts of small strips (for the oil companies) throughout the country. Very friendly people, although almost everyone is carrying some sort of a firearm.

The scenery is beautiful, food is excellent - a bit difficult to get alcohol, though, but not impossible!
