Aeolus - Gambia
Hello,
I am looking for any information concerning a company called Aeolus - AOC based in Gambia, flying ACMI in Sudan. I have an opportunity to work for them... but yes, I will agree with people that will tell me that following such brief presentation, it doesn't start well !! Need help ! Thanks in advance. Regards. |
Where did you find the job opportunity ?
As always with these obscure companies, BEWARE OF SCAMS. Someone here will know them if they are legitimate. NEVER pay anything up front. |
Aeolus is legit - have seen many of their aircraft being sent to Sudan to operate for Marsland etc. They are due to start scheduled ops to Dakar in the coming months.
• The African Aviation Tribune •: Aeolus Air However, contact details, as well as a website are near non-existent. Does any one know how to get in touch with them? |
Ted,
They also operate for Tarco, which I didn't know until a few days. From what I understand, 2 or 3 B737CL, and 1 A320... Talking about that A320, many things look strange, like where it goes, the maintenance, the crew etc... It has been impossible for me to have owners name (AOC/aircraft). Ancient Geek, I find that opportunity through my network in Sudan, Marsland Airways. Believe me, I know well what is a scam, and I never paid a cent to get a job. Now, if somebody can have more information, like who is behind Aeolus, same for Tarco, do that A320 really fly in Sudan, anything that could help to show that as a serious business, or not.... Thanks ! |
Hi Totonov and TT Beef...Hope it could help you:
Aeolus Air Group They also have a rep at UK: United Kingdom: +44 7956 103 103 Cheers ... :) |
Thank you Janet !
I did not have that piece, it looks fresh, but still, no names... I think I will stay on stand by mode for that one ! |
Thanks a lot Janet!

What a good news, at least that aircraft flies ! :D
MetroMan, thanks, but are you sure we are talking about C5-AAO ? Do you have more info concerning that story ? |
Metromane, unless there is some other A320 involved in ZW diamond ops, what you're referring to is the China-Sonangol A320:
• The African Aviation Tribune •: ► ZIMBABWE: China Sonangol denies its A320 being used for diamond smuggling. |
Thanks, I knew I'd read it somewhere.
