Mango jumpseat
 

Hi guys,

I was hoping I could find someone here that can arrange something..

I am flying Mango from CPT-JHB on 27 September, flight JE148. I would really love to go into the cockpit for a landing maybe, if I'm lucky enough the whole flight

I am a young aspiring pilot. Starting my PPL and COMM hopefully next year, so getting a jumpseat would be really awesome. Last time I was allowed in the cockpit during a flight was 2003 on a Nationwide flight...

If you want me in the cockpit of Mango you need to pay me lots and take away that ghastly uniform.

Explain what you have just written to the Captain as you board. If he doesn't have a jumpseating crew or is conducting a training flight and is a reasonable person then you have a good chance of sitting in the cockpit.

And Mango would in return expect you to be able to fly.....oh well, seems you can't reach a compromise.

due to the laws these days i thought only Mango staff are allowed in the cockpit/jumpseat.
