Twins in Africa

G'day guys I was wondering what sort of light twins are used throughout Africa. Are there many PA31 in use? or more C402?
I'm still contemplating coming over to Africa in search of work. What other sort of endorsement would be worth while?

Cheers

It seems no one is prepared or able to help with your query. I'll offer you this for what its worth. Its been a long time now, but when in East Africa - yes, there were plenty of 402s and Chieftains, but I've heard a Caravan rating can be quite useful these days. Just depends how much spare cash you've got to take a gamble and pay for a rating and how much time you've got. If you're a low timer - less than a thousand hours - you may as well save your money and, as always with Africa, just show up in the hope of finding whatever you can.

All the best

Barons, Aztecs, C-401/402 etc, Navajos - lots of types. A few Islanders doing the rounds also.....
