Afrikaans 'welkom aan bord' announcement wanted

Is there anyone who works for SAA (or any SA airline) who could give me the text of the onboard welcome announcement? I used to know it off by heart in both official languages from my days of commuting CPT JNB twice a week, but most of it has gone! Ek gebruik de hele ding complete with sitkplekgordels en suurstofmaskeere. It's for a part in a theatrical production, and I'd really appreciate it, otherwise I can just wing it, but it would be nice to get it right.

The forum on the dark side is rife with dialectics who once were here and now are not. There's more than one wizened captain hanging around there.

Manx Airlines cabin crew used to give a brief 'welcome' and 'goodbye' in Manx Gaellic. Manx Airline no longer exists and not many people speak Manx Gaellic. Any parallels?

I think it's a great shame when a minority language which has a rich culture and history behind it is allowed to fade away. Manx2.com definitely don't make announcements in Gaelic ..... it's heavily accented (Czech) English, but very clear. The recorded videos are in perfect English.

Iberia used to make announcements (recorded) on domestic flights in regional dialects such as Mallorquin, Valenciano, Bable, as well as the official regional languages of Euskera, Catalan, and Gallego. I don't know if they still do but with the decline in standards I doubt it.

Perhaps the Manx crews would have been better advised to have given their announcements in Latin.
The Manx motto is:
Quocunque Jeceris Stabit.
Which translates into English as:
Whichever way you throw me I will stand.
Which sadly seems not to have been the case in this instance.

One recalls getting a good hiding at school:( for having the temerity to ask the Afrikaans teacher "Why, if you insist that Afrikaans is a living language have they built a monument to it?":E

An amusing story about the 'rock festival' that was held when they opened that 'taalmonument':

There was significant air force involvement. Three Sabres flew high overhead to leave '100' in smoke trails; a 16-ship Harvard formation in '1', '0' and '0' line-abreast sub-formations flew past; a Harvard 'spotter' to make calls to this formation to keep its shape (also acting as a 'spare' if any of the others dropped out) flew below and nearby; the Silver Falcons flew low overhead giving a display leaving orange, white and blue smoke trails; an air force officer was on the ground at the taalmonument to call for these runs to start to fit in with timings at the 'rock festival' below. There was a lot of r/t talk and for about 20 mins it was continuous. Every single word on the r/t was in English!!
