FAA A/P to NCAA conversion
Is it possible to convert an A/P (FAA) license to a Nigeria license without having to retake all the exams again? It looks like the only way to get an engineering job in Nigeria is to have an ICAO type license.

It might be an idea to investigate converting an FAA licence to a South African licence and then converting that one to a Nigerian?

There's a bunch of Americans working for Bristow in Nigeria, so off the top of my head I can't see it being an issue. Will try to find out from one of them.

Can anybody give the NCAA contact number the website is down I thin and I cannot find anything on the internet. Any info will be really appreciated.

jnignon,
The bloke I spoke with said that his company handled the actual conversion, but he wrote the Air Law exam, like everyone else does and the only stipulation was that you have to have the type school completed to be given the rating on your NCAA license. Hope this helps! |
