pilot duty hours and rest period

does anyone know where i can get information on the STANDARDS FOR FLIGHT TIME AND FLIGHT DUTY TIME LIMITATIONS AND REST PERIODS for west african countries, specifically, Guinea Bissau and/or Siera Leone? thanks

Standards? What is this word you speak of? We do not understand your crazy tongue!

Seriously, though...most places the duty hour limit for 2 man crew is 14, 16 augmented.

Most places adhere to the standard 8/24, 30/7, 100/30, 1000/12

STANDARD REST
9 hrs < 8 hrs duty
10 hrs > 8 to 9 hrs duty
11 hrs > 9 hrs duty

REDUCTION OF REST
9 reduces to 8 with 10 min next rest
10 reduces to 8 with 11 min next rest
11 reduces to 9 with 12 min next rest

Be prepared to know the rules inside out and defend yourself, the safety of your fellow crew and passengers. You will be pushed.

Exceeding flight/duyy time limitations.

Interesting to note that whilst in most serious airlines, logistics are in place to monitor and ensure that crew do not encroach on this limits, otherwise they are immediately stood down, and a standby called out, however in several other airlines where economic considerations and cutting corners over-shadow safety issues, you find crews being encouraged, coerced and sometimes roastered and compelled to bust this limits.
Unfortunately cos of unprofessionalism, fear or greed, some crews are quite happy to acquiesce.:O
