Boeing 720 at Mbuji-Mayi.

May I ask anyone who flies in and out of Mbuji-Mayi is there a derelict Boeing 720 in residence?

The aircraft was an ex Aer Lingus Boeing 720-048 registered EI-ALC. After finally leaving Aer Lingus it passed through various owners, and the last record I have of her whereabouts are in Mbuji-Mayi around 1992.

I assume she was broken up long ago, but any information or even a photograph would be greatly appreciated.

:ok: Looking at the gentlemen sitting under the wings in the shade and the open forward door suggesting an inhabitant perhaps it will wallow 'African style' for some years yet.
