Air Namibia. Who will they take?
 

Who will they lease in? Airquarius, StarAir, Avstar or Interair. To many choices.
They have a A319 from Europe already.

Who cares? Probably the cheapest. I think Interair is an IOSA airline but doesn't the almighty $ rule? Only if there is an incident will the decision makers be questioned.

If you’re an IOSA certified Airline and you need to lease in an Aircraft of the same type that you operate, does the airline that you lease in need to be IOSA Compliant?

Geduld mense, politics again, money talks and bull-s*** walks, believe though Airquarius and there service deliverey/reliability so to speak ,left a bit to be desired.

Well I guess Star Air Cargo gets it. In the end it’s all about money!!!! Safety and IATA/ IOSA had absolutely no factor in their decision.

I heard a rumor that Aero Africa is getting a ZS registered B732 and plans are to fly for 1100USD per hour, cutting out the likes of Avstar/Star Air cargo and Air Aquarium....Any truth to this??

Heard 'Namibia 707' on the radio today, inbound to FYWH. Sounded like a very eastern european accent and registration was LZ- (=Bulgaria?)
