Can anyone confirm the rumour that Kulula are starting flight from FAJS to FWCL anytime soon? Thanks.

Just a rumour perhaps.

I would suggest IF anything, Comair would serve the route in its BA colours.

What is the bilateral agreement between SA and Malawi, currently it seems that both SAA and Air Malawi is stuck at 7 flights a week. SAA have 5 to Lilongwe and 2 to Blantyre. I always believed that it would be better if SAA focus on Lilongwe with daily flights and then maybe SAX can do daily flights to Blantyre rather.
BA/Comair used to fly to Lilongwe for a short period years ago, so I'd believe Lilongwe will once again be the better choice?

Because blantyre is the commercial capital of malawi, there will always be a demand for saa to fly there. Saa cargo also have flights there, not sure of the frequency though. With regards to air malawi, they are in a lot of trouble. They are currently flying (ZS-PUI) a leased B732 on the joburg route as their own is in for a C check that they cannot complete as they can't afford it!
