Hi Perceval...according some sources, wich i cannot guarantee at 100%, the job its for a new Tchad Company named "Mid Express Tchad".
It has already acquired a 707 from Bangladeshi's "South Asian Airlines", ex-S2-ADU, and now as TT-DAX under new Tchadian Jurisdiction, based at NDJ.
Cheers and Keep Smoking the Skies:ok:

Janet Flight, olá!!

Do linhadafrente para aqui... :) Cumprimentos.

Do you have any inside infoe if they are only taking type-rated guys?

Any chance for a non-type rated to be able to grab a chance on one of the classics (B727, B707 and DC-8)?

Greeetings.

There was a 707 on a cargo run out of Addis, if memory serves me right it was to Delhi.
Grotty old ship, can't remember who operated it but it was a regular.

perceval 9th Nov 2008 12:41

Did apply though Parc but no reply , so I guess they are looking at a TR F/O .

we have a 707 parked at OPRN, but belongs to the PAF. last i heard they were looking for a buyer and that it was airworthy.

listen, if you want to buy it, i'll get you a great deal on it BUT on one condition. you hire me to fly it:E

MKA742 16th Nov 2008 20:35

Say again?

Thats not right at all! Where did you get that info?

The '707's' in Ostend are actually DC-8-63F's.
A lot of the companies you list aren't operating 707's for a long time, like African or Angola air charter.

If you are interested in a correct and up to date list, visit: Die Boeing 707 in Köln/Bonn .

Anyone have pictures of TT-DAX?

I have 6000 hours plus on B707's. Last flight 10 years ago approx. If anyone looking for a PIC I might consider going back to the old girl, part time/commuting. Age, under 60.

sslut 17th Nov 2008 15:29

And TZ TAC is on the ramp at Lanseria in all her pride and glory. Strange how many guys are wandering around with that distant look spouting about "them good ol' days" Hope I'm there when she departs - its gonna be one helluva noise as she rotates coming past our hangar.

JanetFlight 17th Nov 2008 22:41

There is also another recently registrated 707, but this time in Kyrgyzstan Prefix "EX"...The bird its all white at Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE, and it carries the mark EX-120...No one knows the owner nor other details...Weird..
Any Help, even with the previous Reg...Please:confused:

Have you tried that lot at Southend in the UK?

London Southend Airport - Serving the Thames Gateway - Companies Based at Southend

They used to have approval, so might be worth contacting them.
