There is LOTS of shady operators in this industry, CAA must just get them and nail them properly! :\ :\ :\

Dear Mr JO has really been round the block.... :ouch:

Ex SAAF impala pilot he says...I believe that just after flightstar he says he went to Emirates but was tossed out smartly.. Then it was on to SAA where he was appointed only as a sim instructor but apparently wangled himself a conversion on the aircraft even though his appointment expressly did not allow it. After some or other event it was on to Airlink were he did not last long and was sent on a long walk off a short pier. After more to-ing and fro-ing he ended up at Nationwide were even the VBrick realised that something was amis with 'the croc' and sent him packing. :D

I know for a fact that his schemes were illegal at the time we crossed paths (luckily NOT a victim). He even ran a flight instructor training scheme whereby his wife of the time supposedly did the training and he did the testing. In reality he was testing his own students.:ugh:

After his 'training school' it was on to Hydro Cargo (747 op) where he had afallout with the investors after trying to pass the contract on to new investors who offered him a better deal. He apparently got the cargo contract himself and then went looking for investors.:=

After this it was a foray north to Rovos Air flying convairs, but soon fell foul of Ruan Vos and was booted out. I think there was a court case after that one as well - outcome unknown.

He also gave conversions to guys on aircraft that they never had a hope of flying because the companies were not even aware that he was giving training on the aircraft. He would do a charter and take a 'co-pilot' with, but the poor sod was actually paying for a conversion. He would even tell the aircraft operators that the poor sod was a family member that was coming along for the ride.:E

He even tried to nail tubby singlet1n's butt to the wall for doing an instructors test in too short a flight. Only thing was that he was doing exatly the same!
When another DE complained, JO got off scott free and did not even get a slap on the wrist.

Post Rovos it was Africa etc. etc. etc.

However, becareful, nothing sticks to the 'oil fire' After being tossed out of nationwide he sued VBrick and even got a settlement. Post accident in Congo with death of Andre Nel, he did not even do a please explain.

This guy is bad bad news!!!!

I hope someone eventually nails this guys Ar$3 to the wall properly.

Well, well, well...

Over the past two weeks atleast four of JO's "Pay-as-you-Go" Cadets attended MANGO Interviews and are all schedule for Sim Rides next week.

Remember that JO sits on the MANGO Selection Panel :ugh:

Just wondering what the going rate (R's or $'s) for a MANGO Interview and Sim Ride would be..:=

No intention to reflect negatively on the rest of the MANGO guys/girls who all made it through hard work.

The ROT Continues !
