Mozambique Civil Aviation

Hopefully somebody at the Mozambique CAA could answer this....

Why is it becoming increasingly impossible to deal with the CAA in Mozambique? Everytime i have to try and get a permit from them, it turns into a nightmare.
If you can get through to them, you are lucky!
The switchboard is never answered.
If you manage to get your hands on one of their mobile numbers, it's either switched off or they cut the call.

Tried e-mailing. Nobody checks it anyway.

So i ask, how the hell does one get a permit from the CAA when the staff don't give a damn and have no inclination to do some work which is what they are paid for.

work which is what they are paid for.
Ah, but there is your answer. Do they get paid that much? Enough to motivate the worker?
I have never had any problems with permits in Mozambique. They aren't the fastest, but with a little patience I've always managed to get sorted out. And no, I have never bribed anybody.

PS. Doubt anybody from Moz DCA actually bothers with PPrune.
