Frozen ATP

Hi everyone.

I am currently in Botswana and want to start flying here. I have a South African frozen ATP and was wonderring if my subjects will still be valid if my south african license expires.

Any feedback will be much appreciated.

ATP Subjects

Ok the subjects are valid for 5 years from your writing and passing the last subject.

However to do an ATP test your license will have to be valid - so technically you have to keep the license valid to keep the subjects, If however you do let the license lapse you would need to get that re-instated and that could be a lot of heart-ache. If you have a CPL/IF you can stay current by doing regular IF renewals and some can even be done on approved Simulators in South Africa. I know there are at Lanseria, Grand Central and Wonderboom amongst others.

Good Luck

Thanx for the reply vortex, I'll just keep my SA license valid then.
