Precision Air Tanzania

Hi,

I am suppose to start flying for them next month, still discussing the contract because they want to make me pay back the base training if I break the contract before the 5 years... I told them this shoud be a part of the package for a new hired pilot, still waiting on them about this.
Anyone is working for them or has worked in the past can tell me how it is for them and what should I expect working in DAR?
Also looking for an appartement ...

Cheers

Hi,

I'ev heard that Precision air is hiring Pilots (without Type Rating) on
ATR's with only CPL/IR. Is this news TRUE or just a rumour ??????
Someone also told me that they are hiring pilots if the pilot pays 50%
of the training cost of ATR with a five year contract.
If anyone knows about this information or any news about hiring Pilots
please let me know.

Cheers.

Hey mate.well i'm not quite sure about recruitment at this time as there are 8 drivers presently doing their sims check in Toulouse(FRANCE)and a bunch of other guys who came back 2 months ago and still haven't done their base check yet, with that huge number of new recruits i don't know if they'll soon recruit, however i heard a good number of their experienced drivers are leaving for greener pasture INDIA particularly perhaps there'll be an open slot awaiting for you,but what i know they require expats to pay at least 50% of the rating and sign a five years contract which is quite fair. They just received a brand new ATR 72-500 from the box another one is on the way.All the best mate

Ah we are in Morlaix, not Tolouse, almost done though we are out of here on Tuesday.

Can't wait to get my hands on the real thing, though the fact that the other group is still grounded does not fill me with confidence.

Hi alpha-B,
Thanks for a prompt reply. Atlest this is confirm that whenever
Precission Air recruits, the Expats have to pay 50% of the
training cost. Kindly throw a msg, when they start to induct
Pilots again. I don't think thats a bad deal.

Cheers:ok:
