chief pilot in east africa

anyone out there know how much a chief pilot of a sep should expect to make in E. Africa? with all responsibilities on him taking care of two SEPs?
any idea would be helpful, thanks!

'how Much"

........2 Bags of mealies and a box of condoms?
Mealies can be swopped for Tusker.
Condoms can be swopped for "glad wrap".

Wouldn't be for a certain Wilson operator would it?

would safely have to make 10KUS if it's on anything around the size of a Dash-8, otherwise in my opinion you're getting robbed becuase it's going to be a lot of work.

Dash 8 = SEP???

More likely 206s, plus the operators 172/150 in their side business FTO.

No, M80, It's not for a Wilson... but it's def. less than 10k... so? good deal or not? i've heard that lots of guys get only 750 usd... it's a bit more, but not much... but is it worth the experience at least? 60-80 hours/month supposedly.

I don't know your experience, or where you want to go, but $750 seems to be underpaid. Maybe people are doing the job for that, but the work/responsibility of chief pilot would seem cheap at twice that price. Others will be better informed than me.

With the current market I'd think that either twice as much money would be reasonable - although maybe not available. Having said that, maybe chief pilot experience is particularly valuable for you and therefore worth factoring in place of lost salary.

It would be interesting to know what others have to say on the subject. To summarise, I think it's too little money.

Hey gents, sorry about that wasn't familiar with the term SEP! :}
Cheers
