I am looking to hire a AC in SA for two weeks around christmas. Does anyone know where I can get a nice 172/182/SR22 with all the bells and whistles? Glass-cockpit would be nice.....any ideas would be welcome.

Maybe try 'HELI' based Cape Town Intl airport - they got a pretty new C182 fixed gear machine for hire and fly. Will have to take up temp club membership which'll include insurance etc. Worth a shot? +27 21 9351619.

S22 may be much harder to find. Not many up for hire and fly i suspect.....?

I think Zs-NOY a very nice C-182 may be still available from FAGC- In JHb.Contact Babcock CFA who look after her but you will need to be quick

I take it you've got an SA PPL or JAA PPL with time to spare for the licence conversion? :)
