Sunny South Africa

Hi

I am a South African that has moved to America to start my flight training over here. I hope to be a pilot in the airlines or corporately someday. However I do not know if I will ever get a green card or work visa to fly commercially here in the US.

So, I just wanted to get an idea on what my opportunities would be like if I ever returned to SA. What would license conversion entail and what jobs are availible for a low time pilot.

I have just started my training, so it's going to be quite a while before I am looking for a job.

Thanks in advance.

Totsiens and baie dankie

Since your at ER, get your degree and all the ratings you can. Use your CFI/CFII to build some time. Things will come your way in time....Right now HIT THE BOOKS.

No prob, I will work hard. I realise what an amazing opportunity I have been given to come here and I will not screw it up.

Not entirely sure about the instructing, but that's a long way away.

Thanks

Cheers
