May their souls rest in peace. I hope this forces the aviation authorities to look beyond the age of aircraft as the criteria for safety and this bird was quite new.

nigerian navy helicopter down in owerri

an augusta 109power helicopter operated by the airwing of the nigerian navy, crashed on final approach to owerri, the helicopter was on national assignment escorting election materials been transported by a national emmergency management agency helicopter.likely causes of the crash were linked to bad weather, or engine failure, the helicopter in question is a twin turbine six seater helicopter, i know a navy pilot who happens to fly one of those helicopters it came as a shocker to everyone
may the souls of the crew rest in perfect peace
