Kenya, what's happening?

Anyone heard anything on Kenya Airlines? Did they resolve the local issues there? Any news will be great.

Far as I know hiring of expat crew has been delayed for the time being and more local crew have been hired. Seems the academic requirements
( Secondary School level grades) are now lower if flight experience is sufficient - tho still a must for low houred / ab initio applicants. Basically a case by case situation. Have that on hearsay not as policy. Will find out more.....

Well, as 5y-not says the company finally agreed to suspend the hiring of any expats. More local pilots have been hired and more are being interviewed as we speak. The company has agreed to look at higher time pilots with lower high school grades.

Hope that this all helps.
:)
