MK recruitment for trainee pilots
 
Any guys here having information on Air Mauritius recuitment for trainee pilots?
When is the next intake?
Is there anyone here who attempted the last intake and anyone here who got selected?

I have appeared for the ab-initio schemes for 3 times and never got selected.I envy all those who made it.I have grown old now and it's too late for me to continue this struggle to enter Air Mauritius.But,I will apply if the next intake will be for soon.:ok:

Port-Louis, Mauritius (PANA) - Mauritian airline company, AirMauritius, this week signed an agreement with a South Africantraining school known as 43 Air School to train 20 pilots, two of themwomen, an official source in Port-Louis has said.Air Mauritius general manager, Nirvan Veerasamy, said that the trainees,aged between 21 and 36, will be offered jobs at the end of their18-month training in South Africa."We are financing the entire cost of the training and the traineeswill have to work for Air Mauritius for at least seven years," he said.Veerasamy said that his company needed 25 pilots every year in order toincrease gradually the number of Mauritian pilots. Today, only 51 pilotsout of the 200 the company has, are Mauritians.The South African high commissioner in Mauritius, Ajay Bramdeo, hailedthe Air Mauritius initiative, calling it a milestone in the enhancementof regional cooperation.
