Did that car drop?

Is it true a car fell from an oryx heli during the ysterplaat airshow earlier today? I was passing by (sadly couldn't make it to the show) and saw this thing swinging like crazy, then fall about 200 ft.Was it planned??

cheers,Cb

Usually a joke at all air shows. They announce someones car will be towed for illegal parking then after a couple times you see the car hanging and ..ooops.
Makes a good joke for first timers.......

B Sousa 100% correct, all a joke just to spice up the show.

Here are the pics

Read the side of the car carefully – a quick look won’t do :8

Sad really - pre drop it was better condition than mine :(

B Sousa 4th Dec 2005 22:03

Hard to tell. I can read a C.... N..T. Seems to be something between the C and the N............... Do you think its possible??

Woof etc 4th Dec 2005 22:19

CLINTS is what is says, CLINTS! ... probably the name of a scrapyard.

You didn't really think it said C*NTS did you?

African Tech Rep 4th Dec 2005 22:22

Mr Moderator, people are getting tired of the deliberate malicious comments made by Mr Sousa.

I would also like to have my say about what i think Bert is but i dont want to be banished from this great site.

Kindly Mr Sousa, please think before you jump on the band wagon.

Keep well all.

Speak for yourself, LH.

If it weren't for the conniving of certain operators, NTCA would be uncomplicated and a pleasure. The shenanigans with the choppers in the Cape have now made NTCA a minefield of hoop jumping and arguments with SACAA.

It's always a few that screw it up for many.:(
