Fuel in Angola
 

Anyone in Angolsh know if Fuel is available in LUENA....payment with A/C card or magical dollarrzzz.

Sonangol may have some barrels out there. Its been awhile but i don't remember a truck being there- that may have changed with the roads opening etc. Good luck organizing that...

Failing that you could wait for a white Herc to show up and "aquire" some pre-loved jetA from them...

Safely assume both will require unmarked USD in the large-headed-president-post 2001 variety...

2 types of fuel in Luena, UN WFP fuel & Military fuel.

WFP will generally not give any away, failing that Contact Stephan at Angola Air Services they may be able to help.

Re military fuel, there have been times when even the Sonair planes could not get it. The only way was through he local governor….. ie slim to none.
