flight and duty hours.

hi people! those of you from my neck of the woods will appreciate that the cap 394 is a bit ancient to say the least. especially when it comes to pilot fatigue - read flight and duty time limitations.hopefully it will change when the FAA gets in there.

can anyone tell me what the SA CAA limits are on flying hours per day , week and month and also the maximum flight time for a flight without augmented crew?

thanks.looking for facts to settle an ongoing debate.

Hi KT
go to the SACAA website........www.caa.co.za .On the left hand side you will find the index,go to Acts and Regulations.
Then proceed to CATS.
On the CATS page you will find SA-CATS-OPS-121,click there and you should find a wealth of info.
Please PM me if you need more info.

Remember...look for the bare necessities.......:ok:
